Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Digital Authoring Specialist (Student Role) to join our team for an 18-week full-time contract. This position is ideal for students who are currently pursuing a degree in instructional design, educational technology, digital media, or a related field and are looking to gain practical experience in digital content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing engaging digital content across various platforms to support our brand's messaging and initiatives, with a focus on inclusivity, diversity, and data-driven insights.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and create compelling content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other marketing channels.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with our mission, values, and campaign goals.

  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and resonates with our diverse audience.

  • Assist in the development of content calendars and scheduling.



Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Communication, educational technology, digital media, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with digital authoring tools and software such as Canva, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and e-learning development.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and translate them into engaging digital content.

  • Proficient in content management systems and social media platforms.

  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
